Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein Balls
1 cup of oats
½ cup ground flaxmeal
½ cup peanut butter
¼-⅓ cup honey or maple syrup
¼ cup cocoa powder
½ tsp salt (if unsalted pb)
1-2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla
Optional 2 scoops protein powder/collagen etc
Possible small amount of water (1 tsp at a time) to bring it all together
-Add all dry ingredients into the bowl and stir it up! Then add in pb & honey and stir again. It is going to be a sticky mess. If it is too dry and not sticking together add more pb/honey or if you added the protein powder a little bit of water (like 1 tsp at a time) until the mixture starts to come together.
-Once mixture has come together roll into balls (your choice of size). Your hands will get super sticky along the way and you may need to rinse them ½ way through so you can continue rolling. Place balls on a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat if you fancy. Pop the balls in the freezer or fridge to set.
-I keep mine in the freezer but you do whatever you want.
